Thank you for registering for a private session. One of our trainers will contact you within one to two business days to schedule your session.
Private training is held at our Training & Wellness Center located at 1608 North Lynhurst Drive in Speedway. It is not inside the daycare so please do not look up Puppy Pitstop for your directions.
You can park in the parking lot behind the building or in the spaces along 16th street and enter through either the front or back doors. Our back door has a white dog statue beside it so you can easily identify the right entrance.
*Please bring a bag of soft, pea-sized training treats with you. Do not only bring kibble, though you are welcome to bring some to use. Treats should be chewy and your pup should love them. Some kinds we like are cut-up leftover meats, broken freeze dried meat treats, zukes, bil jac training treats, bil jac mini peanut butter, or homemade treats (cut up hotdogs, cheese, or fried/scrambled eggs). Many of these suggested items are large enough to be broken up, so you may want to do this before your meeting. Treats the size of small peas are sufficient. It’s a good idea to bring more than you think you'll need. You may want to bring a training pouch or something you can use for this purpose. Using a pouch helps to keep your treats accessible and within easy reach.
Please don’t feed your dog within a couple hours of your private session. You are welcome to bring a bowl for your dog’s water. Fresh water is available on the premises. Please contact us to reschedule if you have any reason to suspect your dog may be ill.
Your pup should arrive at their lesson on a flat collar or harness (or both) and on a 6 ft leash (or similar). Pinch/prong/e collars and retractable leashes are not permitted during the session.
Please remember that lessons are held at our training facility at 1608 North Lynhurst Drive in Speedway, not at the daycare center.
Feel free to email us at puppypitstoptraining@gmail.com if you have any questions.
We look forward to working with you and your dog!
